The Energy Seminar: Winter ’15 Speakers Announced

A message from the Precourt Institute for Energy.

We are excited to announce the speakers lineup for the Energy Seminar this upcoming Winter quarter!

The Energy Seminar is a weekly speaker series, managed by the Precourt Institute for Energy (PIE) and the Woods Institute for the Environment at Stanford, that informs the Stanford energy community about a wide range of energy and climate change issues and perspectives. It is a great opportunity to connect with other students, staff, and faculty who share your passion in energy, learn about developing issues in the energy space, and share your ideas.

As always, the Seminar is held Monday evenings, 4:15 – 5:15 pm, at the NVIDIA Auditorium in Huang Engineering Center.

The seminar is offered as a for-credit course for Stanford students (CEE301/ENERGY301) and is also free and open to the public. Check out The Energy Seminar page for more details about resources and archives.

Starting Monday January 5th 2015, the Seminar will host a movie screening of “Stanford Solar Car Project Racing on Sunshine” produced by PIE’s Mark Shwartz and welcome the Stanford Solar Car Project to speak about their experiences in the World Solar Challenge. More details can be found on the The Stanford Solar Car Project poster.
